About The Artists:

DETHRACE is a theatrical art rock experience... Ten foot tall fiberglass super-robots, (Inspired by the 1970's Japanese robots) play 666 volts of ear blasting Heavy Metal Music! Mecronos growls out the vocals, while Electronos shreds on electric guitar and Acronos pounds on the bass. All this is accompanied by an electronic drum track, while Necropatheos, the evil skull faced creator of the band, dances with the crowd.

SKUM CITY: New York based, punch in the face making your ears bleed with screeching axes and screams. With Richie on the mike and Moose on guitar, Xtene backing up on bass and Gpot on Skins. Punk Rawk/Hardcore. There is no return once you've reached...Skum City!

BOBBY STEELE has been the driving force of the NYC punk/underground scene since the 1970's. Steele was the guitarist for the legendary horror punks The Misfits from 1978 to 1980. He appeared on the band's classic Horror Business and Night of the Living Dead EPs, and is credited as the driving force behind the band's most popular songs. After leaving The Misfits, Steele formed The Undead, one of the best-selling independent acts in music history.

THE HEADLOCKS are a native NYC band. Their lyrics and music are steeped in and capture the spirit of American song traditions, (Including Early Blues and 1960's Classic Rock) while maintaining an urgent relevance to current events, politics and art. They have a familiar feel and a unique sound, along with rhythms, hooks and melodies that will have you moving and singing along in spite of yourself. The Headlocks' lineup is made up of anywhere from 6 to eleven musicians on any given night!

THE HEALTHY SNACKS: Five noble citizens from Howell NJ come together to form a fresh to death style of music that will make you change the way you look at life… One person claims to have found his true meaning of who he is as a person after listening/raging face to the newest band to hit the scene: The Healthy Snacks!

THE JADEWALKERS play the kind of music that never fails to get inebriated audiences moving—trashy, fast-paced garage-punk with melodic hooks galore. Emma Viking Skull, KymberLee NYC and the guys play hits such as “Complete Loser”, which moves at break-neck speed and features a chorus of “oohs” that is immediately infectious, and “Nancy” which borders on 80s hardcore punk.

AUNT FUZZ is a new all-female group from Sweden. The members all played together in the legendary band, Tant Strul. Now they are here again, Kajsa, Nike and Liten. But this time the lyrics are in english. Beware- here they come!!!

JOE SIMKO is a custom artist/cartoonist based in New York. He works with local and national rock bands, (Such as Murphy’s Law, GWAR, Trivium, Sonic Youth, and many others.) providing designs for albums, t-shirts, and tour posters. In 2006, he was the official illustrator for the largest traveling alternative punk rock music festival, the Vans Warped Tour. Currently Simko is the sole art manager/designer for Japan’s yearly large-scale rock music festival, Magma.
His art is composed of a few very distinct styles. Early works included laboriously detailed abstract expressionist brush and ink works. Some of his work takes on a more traditional pen and ink indie comic book style, although his more commercial work is best described as a stylized blend of bright Saturday morning cartoon form meshed with twistedly eccentric subject matters. Often hiding subliminal undertones throughout his pieces, there is always something new to notice upon multiple viewing of Simko’s artwork
Simko has illustration work printed in Spin Magazine, Revolver Magazine, Alternative Press, Skinnie Magazine, and has been published in such books as The Art of Modern Rock, AOMR mini A-Z, The Art of Electric Frankenstein, Roller Derby Art, EF Poster Book Vol. 1, and A Fistfull of Rock and Roll. Articles reviewing his work have appeared in AP Magazine, Skinnie Magazine, Blood and Thunder, and the NY Waste.
Schiffer Books will be publishing Simko’s first suspiciously twisted and slightly dark edged children’s book aptly entitled “The Sweet Rot” for national distribution in Spring of 2010. The book is written and illustrated by Simko himself.
